Mother Of The Bride Dresses | High-end vs. Affordable - Cyndi Spivey (2024)

I’ve been getting several requests for Mother of the Bride dresses with all the spring weddings. These dresses work for both the mother of the bride and groom and are more targeted towards spring florals and colors. Knowing that everyone’s budget looks different, I’ve included some affordable and expensive options, and I’ve also included accessories: earrings, clutches, and kitten heels.

Teri Jon is on the high-end side of dresses, but their dresses are gorgeous.

Mother Of The Bride | High-End Dresses

As the mother-of-the-bride, you want to ensure you have the perfect dress that showcases your personal style and celebrates you!

Teri Jon has a specific category for mother-of-the-bride dresses with multiple options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. They are high-quality dresses that are perfect for every season and body type and have tons of colors to choose from.

I love the floral prints and the lace accents in these dresses. Navy blue is a popular color choice; the same goes for champagne/light pink colors!

Mother Of The Bride | Affordable Dresses

Everyone’s budget looks different, but that’s no excuse for not finding the perfect dress for you. There are tons of affordable retailer/dress options: Dillards, Nordstrom, and Macy’s are just a few. All of these dresses are under $300 and great quality. Again, I include a variety of color options and some midi and maxi dresses!

Mother Of The Bride | Accessories

Accessories play a key role in every formal look, but there’s no need to spend an arm and leg. These are from Nordstrom and Amazon and are relatively affordable. For starters, finding comfortable heels that allow you to remain on your feet without fear of experiencing pain is imperative. I highly recommend kitten heels – they are flattering, give you plenty of height, and are comfortable.

When it comes to the color, I tend to stick to the nudes/neutrals since they are versatile enough to pair with any style or color dress. Moreover, they can be styled for more than just one occasion, so they’ll be worn year-round!

Pleated Shine Clutch | Black Crystal Clutch | Beige Satin Clutch | Champagne Clutch | Luxe Drop Earrings | Pearl Drop Earrings | Gold Hoop Earrings | Nude Block Heel | Nude Kitten Heels | Nude Clear Strap Heels | Clear Chunky Kitten Heels

Clear heels/sandals have been trending lately, especially for the spring, and I love them – classy, versatile, and timeless. For earrings, I love going with an accent earring, especially if my dress is more on the plain side.

Beauty for the Heart™If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. Psalm 130:3-4

Truth: The psalmist begins in a place of despair, contemplating the weight of sin. We can all resonate with the psalmist because we all sin.

But thankfully, the psalmist doesn’t end there. In verse 4, a shift occurs, which is the heart of the message. God doesn’t hold our transgressions against us. He offers forgiveness. Forgiveness changes everything. It motivates us to revere God, not out of fear of punishment, but out of gratitude for his unwavering grace.

For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:16–17

Thankful for His amazing grace!
