Minecraft 1.12.2 Eydamos Requirements: Minecraft Forge
Eydamos’s Backpack Mod adds craftable backpacks into the game that really improve inventory management. Backbacks can either be stored in your inventory or worn by placing one in the chest armour slot.
Regular backpacks store 27 items and big backpacks store 57. The colour of the backpack can be changed with dye and special workbench backpacks can be crafted that allow you to open a crafting table anywhere!

This mod has been updated for 1.10.2 so, Yes you can. You can place backpacks inside your inventory, or inside of other backpacks. Place one backpack on your bottom inventory bar, select it by number so it is in your hand. Now right click out in the world with the backpack and it will open to open it. (or you can just press Shift-B to open). If you open it with Shift-B, then you will see a “special slot” up at the top. You can place another Backpack into this slot and then use b to open it.

For some reason I cant open the backpack! I’m using 1.10.2 and I have right clicked it and done everything I can. I can do the shift b and it opens the special slot. I put a backpack in that slot and whnever i press b it opens of y inventory and it says at the top ‘backpack inventory’ and then it says inventory underneath and shows my inventory. please help!

Hello,
Ive read the comments and I have tried both pushing B (brings up a waypoint menu) and putting it in my hand and left clicking (nothing happens) right clicking (puts the backpack on).Can someone please tell me how to open it?

You must change opening backpack key in controls because you have “B” for backpack and for waypoints

This Mod has been updated for 1.10.2 Please see https://imgur.com/a/fQnBP for the NEW recipes! To equip a backpack that is in your hand, press Shift-B. When a backpack is opened this way, you will see a “special slot” at the top where you can place yet another backpack. The backpack you place into this special slot can be opened by pressing b (just the lower case letter).
If you have cheats enabled then you can give yourself the materials to build a backpack (I have not yet figured out the Tags to give a workable backpack yet).
To give yourself an iron frame: /give @p backpack:back_frame 1 2
To give yourself 64 tanned leather: /give @p backpack:tanned_leather 64
Then just use the iron frames and tanned leather to make the top, middle, and bottom of a large backpack with 54 slotsSeptember 22, 2016

For those who need help to open the backpack here is how i opened it:
1. Take a backpack and do Shift+B
2. Put another backpack inside the 1st backpack
3. Press b to open

means it’s broken. It does that for me too. I shift b to “open” it and it just says “special slot” and I cant even put anything into it. I feel like I wasted all my time getting leather to make these things was a waste. I had to even cheat my bag in because I made the frames and when I did the recipe (got JEI which has a crafting recipe addon) the bag didnt even get made. So if you ask me, the mod is broken. I cant even equip the bag which was something I didnt even know you can do cause you cant equip it.
So yeah, mods bugged. REALLY bugged
