A.X.L is an American sci-fi, adventure film. It was directed by Oliver Daly. The film aired on 24 August 2018. It was influenced by Daly’s 2015 movie ‘Miles’. The film did lukewarm both critically and in terms of box-office earnings.
A.X.L was able to earn only 8.5 million dollars. The production cost, however, was 10 million dollars. And therefore, it is considered a box-office flop. So, is there any chance of it getting a sequel? Catch up on all the updates down below!

Will there be a part 2 of A.X.L?
Considering the ending of the movie and the “underperformance” in terms of viewership and box office, A.X.L part two’s chances seem pretty slim. However, the movie did have the potential for a sequel. At the end of it? The scenes show some prospects for the next part. But it could also have ended just there. As of yet, there are no updates about the second part of A.X.L. If the makers make any official revelations, we will update it here. Stay tuned!

A.X.L part one Recap! (Spoilers ahead)
The plot of the film revolves around artificial intelligence and humans. A.X.L is the titular character. It is a highly-advanced next-gen artificial intelligence dog. The dog is created by a scientist named Andric. Andric works for ‘Crane Systems. This helps soldiers of the future.
The code name means Attack, Exploration, and Logistics. However, the military does not like the idea of having such an intelligent artificial body. As it might prove harmful if it goes into the hands of the wrong person. Unfortunately, something amiss does happen.
While creating A.X.L, something goes wrong. This leads to it getting damaged and deserted. Later, a motorbike racer named ‘Miles’ finds the damaged AI dog. He somehow manages to connect it by turning on ‘owner-pairing’ tech.
Afterward, Miles and A.X.L become close to each other. They protect each other. Miles wants to protect A.X.L after finding out that Andric (the creator of A.X.L) is in search to get back A.X.L. And so, Miles teams up with his girlfriend Sara. If season 2 happens, it will be picked up from here. Stay tuned for other updates!

A.X.L ratings: Is it worth watching?
The film A.X.L received an IMDb rating of 5.3 out of 10. On Rotten Tomatoes, only got a 25% Tomatometer rating. A bit better, the movie has at least 63% likes by Google users. But if you’re a fan of adventure, and sci–fi movies, you may wanna give it a try!

Why A.X.L. Part 2 May Not Happen?
Let’s be real: the movie was a box office disaster and received mainly negative reviews from both the audience and critics alike, and given there have been no updates concerning a sequel, it highly indicates that the filmmakers are not up for it. The movie’s viewers were utterly disappointed by the poorly written script and sloppy CGI effects. Moreover, it’s been nearly five years since A.X.L. came out in theaters, and till now, neither the cast members nor the filmmakers have said anything about a possible part 2 of the movie.
